The day after open studios end and inspired by Wendy’s month of December (31 day) project -and her own source of inspiration: John Scarland’s “the end of importance: 40 days and 40 nights”, I decide to do my own: I wish to get out and about in the landscape more, I need to get to grips with my SLR camera, and I want to get more images for next year’s calendar and other approaching projects. And so the rules are born:
Every day an intervention in the landscape but every 7th day is one of rest.
Every intervention recorded in photographs.
Photos edited, selected and a final one chosen to represent the day/the piece.
